The objective of this Conference is to bring about a multidisciplinary discussion on the subject so as to explore the implications of GST in India. Broadly the Conference has been divided into two themes – the Interplay between the State Tax Laws and GST and the Interplay between the Central Tax Laws and GST. The themes will be discussed in two sessions. Each session will constitute of a Tax practitioner, a Senior Chartered Accountant, a Government Official (Commissioner / Additional commissioner of Sales Tax) and a representative from the Industry (Consulting firms / Manufacturers).
